Benefits and Specs
The benefits of PEX pipe without a sleeve or insulation is already impressive. According to the Plastic Pipe Institute, because PEX pipe is more flexible than other piping
material, it ensures high-impact reistance with normal backfill, so PEX pipe will not crush or collapse. and, lower thermal conductivity means deep-frost freezing may be delayed or prevented completely.

- Time Saver Pipe-SL is never spliced! The flexible, corrugated pipe and the PEX tubing inside are seamless.
- Time Saver Pipe-SL is flexible and easier to install than copper.
- Time Saver Pipe-SL is wrapped in 1/4" thick TSP-14, MicroFoil insulation. Note: MicroFoil is not a bubble wrap insulation product that can lose its insulation value should it ever get wet.
- Time Saver Pipe-SL exterior sleeve is a 3" flexible, heavy-duty corrugated black pipe (also available in 4" and 5" diameters).
- Time Saver Pipe-SL saves time in the field during installation.
- Time Saver Pipe-SL PEX pipe connects to standard compression joint valves and fittings.
- Time Saver Pipe-SL resists scale build-up and is corrosion resistant.
- Time Saver Pipe-SL provides longer service life than metallic water service tubing.
- Time Saver Pipe-SL withstands high pressures including surges.
- Time Saver Pipe-SL is completely non-toxic. Free of lead, copper and other harmful metals.
- Time Saver Pipe-SL is less expensive than copper tubing.
