Time Saver Pipe-4L Some outdoor boilers have a domestic hot water coil called a heat exchanger right on the stove. The domestic potable cold water goes to the heat exchanger on the wood stove to be heated, and then the hot water is sent back to the hot water heater holding tank in your home. Heat Exchangers - Heat exchangers enable a transfer of thermal energy from a high-energy working fluid to a low-energy fluid. In the counter-current heat exchanger, the hot and cold fluids flow in opposite directions, which minimizes the temperature differential between the fluids at any given point and thus the resulting irreversibility. In the co-current heat exchanger, the fluids flow in the same direction.

The Barrier™ - Under Concrete Insulation. Ideal for hydronic, radiant heat installations. "The Barrier" is an underground insulator/vapor barrier that is made with 3/8" extruded polystyrene and heavy duty black polyethylene film laminated to both sides.
The product is strong and durable and will not collapse under the weight of the
concrete, you can walk on it during the installation. The patented taping system makes installation fast and efficient. Rolls are 4' wide x 60' long. (240 sq. feet). Available as Blk/Blk or our new Blk/White version that provides a cooler surface for installers.
