At the heart of Pinnacle Supply are Ron and Laronda Wienkes originally dairy farmers, now industrialists. Ron and Laronda have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. In their 24 years of marriage they have raised 4 adult children that are active in the everyday business of the company.

They raised Ostriches too in the early 90’s and in the late 90’s Ron built and Laronda operated a retail store selling exotic leather boots. When Ron’s woodstove and pipe business took off they sold the boot store and returned home to the farm where they transformed the Barn, and it’s out buildings from dairy to the manufacturing facility that it is today.

As stove and pipe sales increased so did the need for creative ways to insulate and protect the water lines used in the heating process. After substantial research and experimentation, Ron invented a machine that could wrap and insulate PEX tubing. Their flagship product, Time Saver Pipe™, dubbed TSP16 has 4-wraps of high-density polypropylene foil foam insulation surrounding the PEX tubing and placed in a 4” heavy-duty UV protected drain tile.

Ron and Laronda knew their product was good. Proof came as they used it for their own outdoor heating system. For two years, they did not bury the pipe that connected their stove to the buildings. In spite of the hot water running through the lines the snow did not melt over the exposed piping.

At present Pinnacle Supply has 8 insulated pipes on the market for different uses such as Solar hydronic pipe, Waste water pipe, Camper & RV pipe, Sleeved trace wire pipe, Multiple Distribution pipe, MVP Pipe our most versatile pipe and EverFlex Pipe our most economical pipe. With an annual production of over 1 million feet, Ron is continually updating the automated systems to increase potential production to 3 million feet per year.
